Our lives are comprised of many things. Among the things that make up the substance of our lives are relationships. Our most basic relationship is to God - our Creator and Sustainer. Through Him we live and move and have our being. Beyond our relationship to the Father we relate to one another as members of our family of faith.
The "Family of Faith" of First Baptist Church Plainview is a family of compassion and grace.
We seek to "mourn with those that mourn and rejoice with those that rejoice."
God alone knows how many lives have been redirected and changed as a result of this
Body of Christ.
For the blessings of our past, we give thanks. For the good of the present, we offer our praise. For the hope of the future, we move forward with confidence in the One who knows us better than we know ourselves.
