Minister to Students

Hello!  My name is Elias Garcia and I'm the Minister to Students here at FBC Plainview.  I'm a graduate of Howard Payne University in Brownwood, TX and George W. Truett Theological Seminary of Baylor University in Waco, TX.  My wife Vennessa and I have two amazing children, Anika and Aren.  I've been serving students and their families for 20 years.  In my spare time, I enjoy Disc Golf.  One of my favorite quotes is from Patricia Hersch's book A Tribe Apart, "We have to reconnect the adolescent community to ours. It is not so hard.  We just need to reach out and embrace them and take the time to get to know them-one by one, as individuals, not a tribe."
